Accomplishment

Do you ever have days that you feel as if you got so much accomplished? Yesterday was Definitely one of those days. And I got to thinking... How did I get soooo much done? Upon further investigation I found a nice little fairy ring in my back yard. I must have stepped in it. How else would time seem to be standing still as I got numerous tasks done?

The Mushrooms that make up the fairy ring
The Fairy Ring (I hope you can see it!)

I picked almost everything in my Garden; Potatoes, Onions, Carrots, Peas, and a few Zucchini that were growing large. So I tilled under all the garden space that was now barren- all that is left is my zucchini, squash, and pumpkins. (I also hung the star on the fence.)

The Fruits of my Labor (Yes, I scrubbed, cut, and shredded all of my produce as well.)

We inherited this freezer from my Grandparents. We first thought the outside was covered in food and other items that had spilled or splashed on the freezer in the 35 years it sat in their garage. It turned out to just be a whole bunch of rust. So I got to sanding it (no, it was not an electric sander, this was all done by hand baby!)
I was also able to complete the following (sorry, no pictures to entertain you!)
  1. Posted Items on Craigslist to be sold
  2. Scheduled a plasma Donation
  3. Completed a plasma donation
  4. Read the first 6 chapters of The bartimaeus triliogy: book I
  5. Weeded the entire back yard & all landscaping
  6. Helped in weeding and tearing out old landscape fabric at my grandparents home.
  7. ran 3 miles in preparation for the 5K I'm going to participate in (it was the first time I ran with no stops.... hooray!!!)

Needless to say, I am a little sore today. And so Far today, I have written out bills, and created this post, and the day is already 1/2 over (sad Story). Hey, I can't have a successful day everyday!

I need one of your successful days! So far my success has been waking up, moving from chair to chair, and ignoring the smell coming from my mound of laundry~:)

miss you Kate!!

Hahaha, you're funny. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one with off and on days. You garden produce looks awesome!! Great job, I'm jealous. Nothing in my garden produced anything...better luck next year I guess.

Look at you! Talk about getting stuff done! Those veggies from your garden sure looked delish. And I bought that bread pan from Bed Bath and Beyond, by the way. I should probably mention that in the post somewhere!
