Thanksgiving, England, and McIntires

I've got alot of catching up to do, as this week was insanely crazy with family and Thanksgiving. I didn't take as many pictures on Thanksgiving as I would have liked, but I did get one of the gorgeous sunset as we were driving home from yummy food, and I also got one of PIE!!! (because come on, it' s not Thanksgiving without the pie.)

The day after Thanksgiving, we got a call around noon to go into my dad's office. My youngest brother Eli got his mission call and was going to wait until we were all there to open it. He has been called to serve in the London, England Mission!!! Hooray! Yay for Eli! We are so proud of him!!! He reports to the Preston, England MTC on April 10th! *side note: we all guessed where Eli was going to go on his mission. I guessed England... so intuitive I am* Tee hee! :)

And last, but definitely not least... the McIntire family! This week has been so much fun with my mother-in-laws family. It is the first time in about 23 years that they've all been together. As you can see in some of the pictures, they are goofballs, and we love them! :)

You Know You're a Mommy when...

So I'm totally a mommy now. During my pregnancy, I was told that I would cut my hair soon after I had a baby. I refused to give in... my hair was finally getting soooo long. Then, At about 7 months, Cameron told me he wanted me to cut my hair short, and I mean SHORT!!! He remembered my hair being pixie cut in high school and said I looked 'hot' when my hair was like that. At the time, I didn't think I could cut my hair, because I felt huge and didn't want my face to look even larger with a new 'do'. I told him that once I had the baby, if I felt like I got down to a decent weight and didn't feel big, that I would consider it.


Tebbin has finally gotten to the point where he absolutely LOVES to yank on my hair. I am also paranoid because I find my long strands of hair in his fists and on his feet so often that I'm afraid he is going to get them wrapped around his little fingers or toes. So, here is the final product ***Thank you so much to my talented sister Alison. She did an awesome job*** My hair is short and RED (Again, Cameron loves when my hair is red, so I decided I might as well dye it red since i was cutting it.) I am donating the 16 inches that was cut off to 'Locks of Love'.

Teen Witch

While my sister Alison was visiting last, Cameron and I were both able to get massages ***If anyone is interested in getting a massage next time she is visiting, let me know... we can schedule a time.*** While Cameron was getting his massage and I was watching the kids, I was delighted to see that 'Teen Witch' was playing on TV. What a gem! my sisters and I used to watch this when we were younger (except maybe Rebecca- she said she wouldn't be caught dead watching it.) I only caught the last 10 minutes or so. I checked my guide to see if it was playing again anytime soon- I found it and recorded it. Yay for DVR.

So Hanna, Sharla and I got together last Monday and watched this show. If you can't tell from the fabulous picture and also the hilarious video clip... this was total 80's. We laughed and laughed... commenting on how much we wanted to be like Louise when we were younger, and how 'cool' their clothes were. sad story, I know. Hope you enjoy! :)

P.s. Hanna and Sharla we need to keep it up... let's find more goodies from our childhood and have a movie watching day at least once a month if not more!

The Best is Yet to Be

Robert Browning wrote "Grow Old With Me, the Best is Yet to be."- My favorite line of his. I was excited to hear Elder L. Tom Perry quote this famous saying during conference this past month.

Today is our Three Year Anniversary! On November 5, 2005 Cameron and I were married in the Idaho Falls Temple. Since then I have experienced the best three years of my life. We have shared hopes, dreams, fears, and sorrows. We have gone through three moves, multiple jobs, purchasing several vehicles, purchasing a home, starting a business, and the birth of our first baby. And yet I know that 'the Best is yet to be"- that I haven't even scraped the surface of the happiness I will experience with Cameron. Being married to him is the sweetest blessing my life has known and I couldn't be more grateful.Happy Anniversary Sweetheart. I love you with all of my heart. "Grow Old with Me, the Best is Yet to Be."

Wouldn't You Like to Be a Pepper Too?

Halloween was a blast this year... especially because it was the first year that we had more than just Cameron and I... Tebbin truly has blessed our lives, and we love having a child in our home. The Saturday before Halloween, we went to the annual Coon Halloween Party. It is AMAZING every single year. Our aunt Sharla hosts it, and besides the fabulous decorations that get more elaborate each year, there is always a variety of delectable goodies to please our palates.

I had a lot of fun getting Tebbin dressed up. I had received several gift cards to Target from my baby shower and I couldn't resist the cute Pepper costume. Camerons sister Megan also gave us a glow in the dark skeleton Onesie, so Tebbin got to wear two costumes. He looked adorable (if I do say so myself.) Cameron is not the biggest fan of dressing up, so we compromised with Dr. Pepper shirts so we could all be peppers: "Im a pepper, Your a pepper, he's a pepper, she's a pepper, wouldn't you like to be a pepper too?"

The night before Halloween we attended our wards trunk or treat followed by a Halloween carnival in the gym. It was great to spend time with our family, friends, and neighbors and see all the adorable costumes everyone had on.

The day of Halloween we hung out at my parents house for the majority of the afternoon and then attended Iona 2nd Wards trunk or treat (it was our first ward after we got married.) Afterwards, we went to Camerons mothers house for her delicious Taco Soup - no one makes taco soup like Lori. It was divine. We ended the night by watching "The Emma Smith Story" with Lori & Dave and called it a night. It was such a relaxing and fun day, and I loved spending time with family.
