Okay, so I was tagged more than a week ago and have not thought of 6 things that are unique or people don’t know about me, but I will try:
1- I have a weird obsession of doors having to be closed. First: When I do dishes, for some reason I think I can see a cupboard door open out of my peripheral vision and that I am going to hit my head on it as I am getting dishes to and from the sink and/or dishwasher. But when I turn me head to look, the cupboard door is closed. Second: If I am in the basement watching T.V./folding laundry, or doing anything else, it bothers me if either of the two bedroom doors, the bathroom door, the laundry room door, or the door under our stairs is open. I have to pause my T.v. (yes I can pause, I have DVR), make sure all the doors are closed, and continue what I was doing. Third: I have 3 doors in my bedroom; one to the bathroom, one to our closet, and one for our entrance. I cannot go to sleep if these doors are not closed tightly before getting in bed. It really bothers Cameron because even if the door is open a crack, I make him close it TIGHTLY before I can close my eyes to go to sleep.
2- I alphabetize my CDs and DVDs. Lately I have become relaxed with my CDs, because Cameron normally has them and he doesn’t keep them alphabetized. But I check my DVDs about once a week to make sure they are still in alphabetical order. I think I might have a minor case of OCD.
3- I LOVE having Anxiety! (I know what you are probably thinking… ‘who in their right mind would enjoy having anxiety?’). Well… it’s a certain kind of anxiety that I enjoy having: It’s the anxiety I get when I am rockwall climbing and my arms are about to give out and I am panicking that I will fall to my death (even though subconsciously I know that if I let go, I will just hang in midair.) I love that thrill of fear. It’s the same anxiety I get when I am watching an exceptionally scary movie. The kind that paralyzes you with fear… that’s the best! Cameron thinks I’m weird… so hopefully someone will back me up in liking this type of anxiety?
4- I’m not pregnant. I know it’s probably not ‘news’. But I get asked at least once a week if I am pregnant or when I am planning to have a baby, so I will clear it up for this week… I am not pregnant!
5- This one might sound strange as well. When I was younger, many people told I could be whatever I wanted to be when I grew up. So do you know what I wanted to be? I bet you can't guess........I wanted to be African American! That’s right, I wanted my skin color to change. No one really explained to me that changing your ethnicity and basic genetic make up did not fall in the category of appropriate choices of what I wanted to be when I grew up. But I always thought African American women were really beautiful, and I wanted to look just like them when I was older.
Okay... so I only thought of five, but you will have to deal with it! Hope you enjoyed!

Shotgun Shootin!

As you have already found out from Alisons blog, I absolutely ROCKED at shotgun shooting! My first shot I
missed the clay
pigeon, but I hit the next four! When we actually had the 'competition' I hit 57%, Alison only hit 28%. We had so much fun that Cameron and I are looking into buying a shotgun sometime in the near future!

So Crafty are We

As you have all found out by now I am DEFINITELY Alison's favorite sister... why else would we have spent such a fantastic weekend together and then she brags about it on her blog? That's right, we all know you are jealous! :) JK! These are the cute crafts I bought and/or I made with Alison (and also a super cute wreath that I got from the weed man.) But I must issue a warning... making the candle stick pillars is DANGEROUS. Let me explain...So we were all sitting the living room watching T.V. (Cameron and Brandon on the couch, the kids already settled down for bed, Alison and I sitting on the ground being crafty) when out of nowhere I was attacked! okay, maybe not attacked,
but pretty close. We were paiting our candle pillars. I had mine standing straight up to dry and let go of it, no big deal right? WRONG! I took my eyes away from it for two seconds the 4x4 tallest pillar came crashing down right onto my forehead. Tears sprang from my eyes at impact of wood on bone. It wasn't anything serious, just a little blood, and a cut for the next few days.

Two Years and Counting
Happy 2 year Anniversary Katie & Cameron! It is hard to believe that it's already been that long. I have loved all 730 days being married to this great man! He makes me feel so special each day, and I always feel loved. We both took a day off work and just spent time watching movies, cleaning out our garage, going out to eat, and just spending time together. The picture was taken at Outback Steakhouse (where we spent FAR to much money, but my steak was DIVINE!!!) It's a little fuzzy cuz our server doesn't know how to take a picture! :)
